Apartment Moves in New York Without the Stress
We move New Yorkers between walk-ups, brownstones and doorman buildings every day, across all five boroughs, Jersey City, Hoboken and Westchester. Before anyone lifts a box, we send your building the certificate of insurance, book the elevator and work out where the truck can actually stand.
Two movers and a truck are $165 an hour with a 3-hour minimum, or we agree one price up front. Text or chat any time and you’ll hear back in under a minute, or call (212) 555-0142, Monday to Saturday, 7am to 9pm.

Real reviews
Don’t take our word for it
We got a text at 7:40 saying the crew was ten minutes out, and they rang the bell at 7:52. Our 2-bedroom on the 4th floor was empty by noon, and they still rebuilt the bed frame at the new place before leaving.
The elevator in our building broke the morning of the move. The crew just carried everything down six flights, joked the whole way and never once made us feel bad about it.
They quoted 3 to 4 hours for my studio, it took 3½, and the bill was exactly 3½ hours at the rate they gave me. No stair fee, no fuel charge, no mystery materials line. I’ve moved four times in this city and that’s a first.

Apartment & Home Moves questions answered
Still not sure? Ask us. We reply in under a minute.
Chat nowDo you charge per hour or per job?
Both. Hourly is $165 for two movers and a truck with a 3-hour minimum, and if you’d rather have certainty, we’ll agree one fixed price from your video walkthrough before the day.
Are there any hidden costs I should watch for?
No. Tolls, packing materials and any extra movers are written on the quote before you book, and we don’t charge per flight of stairs on local moves.
Do you send a certificate of insurance to my building?
Yes. Forward us your building’s COI requirements, or the management company’s contact, and we’ll send a certificate naming whoever they ask for, usually the same day.
How far in advance should I book?
Two to three weeks is comfortable for most moves. Around the 1st and the 31st of the month, and all through the summer, book as early as you can, because lease-end days fill first.
What if there’s nowhere to park the truck?
We check your building’s and your block’s rules before the day and plan where the truck will stand, with a backup. On very tight streets we may send a smaller truck so it isn’t double-parked for hours.
Do you take apart and rebuild furniture?
Yes. Beds, tables, desks and most flat-pack furniture are taken apart and rebuilt as part of the move, with the hardware bagged and labeled so nothing goes missing.
Do you use agency or day-hire crews?
Never. Every mover is on our own team, trained by our crew leads, and the same crew stays with your move from the first box to the last.
